Mother’s Day

I planned to go for a hike today but I didn’t.

I planned to go for a hike yesterday. But I didn’t.

I planned to sleep better for the last week. But I didn’t.

Nana’s orchid is in full bloom ready for a send off.

I think I have everything I could need for this trip.

But I’m not mentally there yet.

Apparently you’re only as happy as your unhappiest child – and for months that has not been very happy.

But today they were happy, even if it was for a short while and hopefully soon we can breathe again.
