Have become vaguely obsessed with watching Camino vlogs. I suspect this is a common phenomenon. Either that or watching The Way movie which apparently some people have really enjoyed.
We have booked all our accommodation for our Camino through a company that organises such things. I have reservations about it (not least the obligatory distances) and wish I had had the confidence to just trust the process but it was ultimately not my decision. Am now worried about doing it the wrong way. Which is ludicrous because there really isn’t such a thing I think.
Why someone walks, what compels them to walk and what they experience must necessarily be individual. There is no pilgrim Olympics. One is not more of a pilgrim because they walk barefoot through snow. I keep trying to convince myself of that anyway.

A perfect tiny nest on today’s short preparatory hike (11km).
